How Conexo works
Pick four words you think share something and submit them. A correct set locks in with its theme; an incorrect set simply returns the words to the board. Unlike Connections, Conexo doesn't punish wrong guesses, which makes it a relaxed way to practise spotting categories. Editions also exist in other languages, including Spanish and Portuguese.
Tips
- List every theme you see. Write down possible categories before submitting, since many words will fit two of them.
- Look for the odd one out. A word that fits only one possible category is a great anchor for that group.
- Consider word forms. Compound words, homophones and words that pair with a common partner ("___ ball", "fire ___") are common themes.
- Use our step-by-step hints. See a hint, then the category, then reveal words one by one.
