How to use the Letter Boxed solver
Copy the board into the square above, three letters per side. Start with the top side from left to right, continue down the right side, then the bottom and the left side. The order inside a side doesn’t change the answers. What counts is which letters share a side. You can also paste all twelve letters into the first box.
Press Solve the box and the solver checks every word in the chosen list against the board’s rule: consecutive letters must come from different sides. It then links words end-to-start and keeps the chains that use all twelve letters, best ones first.
Strategies for solving Letter Boxed yourself
- Plan for the awkward letters. Letters like J, Q, X, Z or a side full of consonants are hardest to fit; build your first word around them.
- Think about the hand-off letter. A word ending in a common starting letter (S, T, C, P) gives you far more options for the next word.
- Long words cover more ground. Use the “all playable words” list to spot words covering 8 to 10 letters, then look for a partner that starts with their last letter.
- Reuse is allowed. Letters can appear many times, so don’t avoid a great word because it repeats a letter you already used.
