Longest words (6 letters) · 4
Get the long word and most of the grid follows.
Longest words (6 letters) · 2
Type the letters from the circle at the bottom of the screen, in any order.
Count the boxes in the word you are stuck on and use the length buttons above the results to show only that length.
If some letters are already revealed, put them in Starts with, Ends with or Contains to narrow the list further.
Words that don’t fit the grid still count as bonus words in the game.
Wordscapes, from PeopleFun, mixes a letter wheel with a crossword grid. Each level gives you a handful of letters in a circle. You swipe across them to form words, and each correct word drops into its place in the grid. The level ends when every slot is filled. Valid words that aren't in the grid are saved as bonus words and earn rewards. Levels are grouped into themed packs, so difficulty rises gradually: early wheels have four or five letters, and later ones have six or seven, with longer words and bigger grids.
If you know your level number, the Wordscapes answers by level page has a level search box and lists every level in our database by group and pack. Each level page shows the solved grid, the across and down answers as letter tiles, the bonus words and a short meaning for every answer, with buttons to step to the previous or next level.
Editors add levels by hand and check every word against the wheel letters before it goes live. If your level isn't listed yet, the solver on this page works for any wheel: type the letters and match the results to your grid.
Type the wheel letters into the box and press Find words. You get every word of three letters or more that the letters can make. Wordscapes doesn't use two-letter words, so they are hidden. The most common words in each length are listed first, because grid answers are nearly always everyday vocabulary.
Then match the results to the grid:
Almost every Wordscapes level has at least one word that uses all of the wheel's letters, and it usually crosses most of the grid. Once it is in, the shorter words fall into place because so many of their letters are revealed. On the GARDEN wheel above, any of garden, danger, ranged or gander could be the long answer. The number of boxes and any letters already shown tell you which one the level wants, and the others count as bonus words.
When you are stuck without help, try these:
Wordscapes lets you spend coins on hints that reveal letters. They are worth saving for the hardest levels later on. A few habits help:
A typical six-letter wheel shows how much the length buttons help. L, A, N, P, E and T make 76 words of three letters or more. Only two of them use every letter: planet and the rarer platen. Below them are 15 five-letter words, 30 four-letter words and 29 three-letter words. The grid might use eight or ten of these. If you are stuck on a four-box slot, tap 4 letters and start from the top. Common words like plan, pale, neat and tale will be among the first you see.
The same approach solves Wordscapes' daily puzzle and its seasonal events: enter the letters, filter by length, start with the long word.
