Anagram Sprint
Daily sprint #30 · Friday, October 30, 2026
Today's sprint (#30)
- 60 seconds. Words grow from 5 to 7 letters.
- Quick answers earn a speed bonus, and answers in a row build a combo.
- Skipping costs 15 points and resets your combo.
- A hint reveals the next letter but halves that word's points.
How to play Anagram Sprint
- 1
Press Start
The clock starts at 60 seconds and your first scrambled word appears as letter tiles.
- 2
Unscramble it
Tap the tiles in order or just type. When every letter is used we check your answer straight away, with no Enter key needed.
- 3
Any anagram counts
If the letters spell more than one word (like LISTEN and SILENT), any valid answer that uses all of them is accepted.
- 4
Chain your answers
Each correct answer in a row adds 25% to your combo multiplier, up to triple points. Answers under 12 seconds also earn a speed bonus.
- 5
Skip or ask for help
Skip for a 15-point penalty, or take a hint that reveals the next letter and halves that word's points.
- 6
Review your round
When time runs out you will see every word you solved and missed. Tap any word for its definition.
Train your anagram reflexes
Seeing words hidden in a jumble of letters is the core skill behind Scrabble, Words With Friends, Text Twist and newspaper jumbles. Most of it is pattern recognition, and like any pattern skill it gets faster with short, regular practice. Anagram Sprint gives you that practice in one-minute rounds you can fit in anywhere.
Five habits of fast unscramblers
- Spot the suffix. If you see I, N and G, try putting -ING at the end before anything else. The same goes for -ED, -ER, -LY and -EST.
- Pair consonants that like each other. TH, SH, CH, ST, TR and BL start or end thousands of words.
- Alternate vowels and consonants. Most common words follow a consonant-vowel rhythm, so try building one.
- Say it out loud. Sounding out possible syllables often works faster than shuffling letters in your head.
- Use shuffle. A fresh arrangement of the tiles can make the answer jump out. It's free, so use it often.
To see every word hiding in a set of letters, paste them into the word unscrambler or the anagram solver. Or move up to 7-letter words, the length of a Scrabble bingo.
